SWAPO PLAN attacks the SADF military base at Oshigambo for the second time

Oshigambo

The Oshigambo Base was located north-east of the town of Ondangwa. It was a satellite base of 53 Bn, Ondangwa in Sector 10. When the SADF withdrew in 1989, the base was stripped of all available material after the forces left. Oshigambo was a SAP COIN base built by SAP COIN but handed over to the SADF circa 1980 or early 1981.
